One Odoo ERP behind Shopify, eBay, TEMU and TikTok

Summary
Stateside Distribution is a UK importer and distributor of American snacks and global treats, a product-driven retail business selling across a growing line-up of online marketplaces including Shopify, eBay, TEMU and TikTok. Each channel had its own stock view and its own order flow, which meant the company was effectively running four separate islands that rarely spoke to one another.
TulipTech put a single Odoo ERP behind all of it, so inventory, orders and finance now live in one connected system with real-time stock sync across every channel. The outcome is one source of truth, far fewer errors and a scalable, automation-driven platform built to grow with the business.
The challenge
Selling on four marketplaces at once multiplies the workload when each platform keeps its own stock figures and its own way of handling orders. For Stateside, whose model is built around buying products in bulk and reselling them in individual or varied packaging units, keeping inventory accurate across Shopify, eBay, TEMU and TikTok was both mission-critical and increasingly complex. Without a single source of truth, stock levels drifted apart, order data had to be copied by hand between platforms, and small mistakes multiplied quickly as order volumes grew.
The complex parent-child product structure made matters harder still. Products bought as a single parent unit were sold in several packaging variations, and without a structured way to manage that relationship, stock tracking for individual variants was inconsistent and unreliable. Warehouse and fulfilment work added its own friction: processing TikTok orders through the barcode app meant printing slips, hunting for delivery IDs and searching one order at a time, while lot creation errors produced duplicate lots and negative stock values. On top of all this, management lacked a clear, consolidated view of both parent and child stock, and best-before dates for upcoming stock were missing from the Shopify wholesale website, reducing transparency for wholesale buyers.
Our approach
TulipTech's Odoo team began with a thorough review of how Stateside actually worked day to day, then designed a tailored real-time stock sync implementation that placed Odoo ERP at the very centre of the business. Rather than bolting channels together with fragile workarounds, we implemented Odoo as the single backbone behind Shopify, eBay, TEMU and TikTok, so that inventory, order management and finance all share one connected system of record.
Custom integrations with automated schedulers keep stock levels, product data and order information continuously in sync, removing manual data entry and the synchronisation errors that came with it. We configured Odoo Manufacturing to handle the parent-child product structure, rebuilt warehouse workflows around faster barcode scanning, and delivered the reporting and automation tools the team needed to move quickly with confidence. TulipTech continues to support, maintain and evolve the platform on an ongoing basis as Stateside adds more products, more orders and more marketplaces.
Key capabilities
The solution brought together a set of tailored Odoo capabilities, each targeting a specific bottleneck in the multi-channel operation:
Technology, security and compliance
Odoo ERP configured as the central system of record, integrated with Shopify, eBay, TEMU and TikTok so channels share one inventory and finance view.

Results
The impact across Stateside's operations was immediate and measurable. Manual data entry dropped sharply as stock, products and orders began syncing automatically across Shopify, eBay, TEMU, TikTok and Odoo. Order fulfilment became faster and more accurate, with warehouse teams processing deliveries directly using TikTok package IDs in the barcode app. Inventory accuracy improved once lot splitting issues were resolved and duplicate and negative stock entries were eliminated, while bulk order processing via Excel upload saved considerable time across the warehouse and operations teams.
Management gained clear visibility into both parent and child product stock, enabling better purchasing and restocking decisions, and wholesale customers on Shopify gained transparency into best-before dates, supporting stronger trust and better buying decisions. Stateside now runs on a single, automated Odoo ERP behind Shopify, eBay, TEMU and TikTok, with one inventory, order and finance view across every channel and the scalability to take on more marketplaces, more products and more orders without adding complexity.
